Slumdog Millionaire - the award winning movie of 2009.

On 22 February 2009, the film won eight out ten academy awards, losing only the Best Sound Editing Award to 'The Dark Knight' and the Best Original Sound award. The film also won all four nomination for the Golden Globe Awards.

The movie marked a great success for the British filmmaker Danny Boyle. The film focus on a boy name Jamal Malik, his brother Salim and a friend of them - Latika. The movie is conveyed in a series of flashbacks documenting their childhood. It is a unique and memorable film.

Slumdog Millionaire is a hard-hitting film for an average Indian. We always knew the harsh of reality, but we didn't care for it. Danny Boyle has just shown us the mirror. And yes some of us might have the sense of guilt since we have the ability to make a change. We are satisfied and proud of our daily life but ignore the fact that others are struggling with everyday of their. We with the abilities to help should really utilize them but the problem is the will and courage to start. Therefore, we should at least do something or start from somewhere. The movie can give you a great reflection of reality.
